How we use your personal data

Who we are

i-broker is run by Splays Digital Limited (“we”, “us”), registered in England and Wales, company number 17357759, registered office 4–6 Swaby’s Yard, Walkergate, Beverley, East Yorkshire, HU17 9BZ. We are the controller of the personal data described here.

This notice covers this website, i-broker.co.uk, and the i-broker demo at demo.i-broker.co.uk. It does not cover the i-broker service we run for brokerages, which is covered by our agreement with each one.

What we collect and why

When you ask for a demo

We collect your name, work email, brokerage or office, and, if you give them, your phone number and message. We use them only to reply to you and arrange your demo. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering a request you have made of us.

When we invite you to the demo

We record your email address so we can invite you. When you sign in with Microsoft, we receive your email address and an identifier for your account; we never see your password. We use these only to let you into the demo and to end your access when your invitation ends. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in controlling who can see the demo. The demo contains only invented example data.

When you visit

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. The demo sets one cookie, needed to keep you signed in. Like any website, our hosting provider keeps standard technical records of requests (such as the IP address, time and page requested) to run and secure the service.

This website serves its own typefaces and loads nothing from other companies. The demo loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, so when you use the demo your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address.

Who sees it

Only the people at Splays Digital who work on i-broker. Microsoft hosts the website, the demo and our internal systems, and provides the demo sign-in, acting on our instructions. We do not sell your data or share it for anyone else’s marketing.

Where it is kept

The website and the demo run on Microsoft Azure in the Netherlands. Demo requests are stored in our internal system on Microsoft Azure in the UK. Google may handle the demo’s font requests outside the UK.

How long we keep it

Demo requests: for 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a customer. Demo access: while your access is active, and for up to 12 months after it ends, then deleted.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to our using it. To do any of these, write to us at our registered office, 4–6 Swaby’s Yard, Walkergate, Beverley, East Yorkshire, HU17 9BZ, marking your letter “Privacy”. We will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes

If we change this notice, we will update this page and the date at the top.
